I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others every chance I get. Whether it’s discussing the nuances of the characters in my favorite childhood show or the brilliance of the mating dances of birds-of-paradise, I always leave the conversation with more than I started with. I’ve had the privilege of connecting with both peers and students through the spontaneity of these enriching conversations. I grew up in Queens, but attended schools across boroughs of New York City. This allowed me to meet people of different backgrounds all across the city. Through diverse interactions, I developed a strong desire to share my education and experience with others. In high school, I tutored students of all levels in various academic subjects. Then I attended Cooper Union for Mechanical Engineering. In College, I taught high school students sustainable engineering as an assistant teacher at Cooper Union’s summer STEM program. My education equipped me with teaching experience forged from diversity and engineering principles. Therefore, my goal as a teacher at TestTakers is to help students build strong logical-reasoning and problem-solving skills that enable them to view challenges from a new and meaningful perspective. Outside of work, my hobbies include praising my two cats, cooking savory food (and occasionally baking cakes in a rice cooker), crafting, and drawing.
