Jade Pan

I grew up in Great Neck before moving across the country to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where I pursued a double major in psychology and economics. During my time at UC Berkeley, I worked as a data science student instructor and campus ambassador, gaining experience in both teaching and mentoring students from a wide range of academic backgrounds. Through these roles, I developed a strong ability to break down complex concepts and support students in building confidence in their learning. After graduating, I worked as a consultant in San Francisco, where I specialized in intellectual property litigation. This experience strengthened my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills—tools I now bring into my work with students. I am passionate about helping students develop effective learning strategies and a deeper understanding of the material, rather than relying on memorization alone. I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s individual strengths and goals. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hiking and spending time with my mischievous dog.
